Addressing global societal challenges

The Brno PhD School on Antislavery and Trafficking provides the opportunity for PhD Candidates to go beyond their own discipline and to learn from their peers and participating scholars the different approaches and methods which are being used to consider the issue of antislavery and trafficking.

Participants will present their work; will receive feedback and be expected to provide feedback on their peer’s research.

They will engage with scholars both formally and informally, learning both the rigours of academic writing and the ‘how to’ of academia: how to set an academic and research agenda, how to get published, how to write, how to get research funding, etc.

It is expected that Participants will be enriched by their experience, both through the knowledge gained and exchanged in the classroom, but also through the contacts and enduring networks established.
